Great Framework to organize your Social Media Thinking

Great Framework! With the exception of the first bubble objective (I think that should be a supporting strategy) I think this is a great way for you to think and lay out your Social Media Strategy.

Objectives > Goals > Strategies > Tactics

What are you trying to achieve it? > What is the measure of success? > What are the principles / methods / patterns that you intend to apply to achieve those? > What are the tools and how do you intend to use them?

Your tactics will change and adapt frequently; with new tools and new approaches to use current ones. Your Strategies, Goals and Objectives will change with less frequency.

Filiberto,

This is interesting, but a little bit shorter than what I usually do.

I put one step more here (two if you divide them:vision and mission. It is often easier for organizations to state their vision before they state goals and objectives (mission is something that larger organizations use to get all their people behind a common goal).

So, my paht is

vision > missions > goals > objectives = strategies > tactics.

very similar in nature, but a little bit different... what do you think?

I do like the additions you suggest; the main point that appealed to me about this framework is that it makes it obvious (and visual) to the user that tactics can change & adapt while strategies, objectives, mission and vision can remain constant.
